Nobody really associates peaches with Georgia. ![]() North Carolina says "first in flight." So we've got 2 states, both having something to do with aviation. It says "birthplace of aviation" or something like that. Okay, I'm sorry to veer off topic on a rant, but please bear with me. I say when ever they make a new plate: Keep it simple and make sure it stays true to something that makes Georgia unique. The imagery on the new standard plates are completely ruined when your more than 10 feet away! What do you think?įrom far away they look better, and are easier to see. Given these trends, the alternate plate may become more common. However, as time goes on, I see more and more standard alternate plates, to the point where it seems the alternate plate is now about thirty to forty percent of the new plates.
